Catholic Women's League

founded in 1906 by Margaret Fletcher

OBJECTIVES OF THE LEAGUE

      1. To promote and support charitable works at parish, diocesan levels.

      2. To unite Catholic women in a bond of friendship to form the league.

      3. To train and encourage members to use their talents and skills.  

      4. To initiate and maintain charitable work, religious or educational
      or in the interests of moral and social welfare.

      5. To ensure Catholic representation on other public bodies.


Membership is open to all Catholic women.
Other women who are in sympathy with the above objectives may also join but cannot hold office.


Meetings are held every third Tuesday of the month at 2-30pm in St Joseph's Church Parish Room.
Interested visitors and prospective members are always welcome.
